Tranquility abounds in this peaceful moving meditation. The class incorporates slow movements with breath, all with focused attention and intent. Be guided through the forms and gain an understanding of their martial application. Taught in original Old Yang style, this practice is centred on physical and spiritual well being.

What you need for your class:

  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to class starting (there is no need to book ahead, just turn up). This gives you enough time to prepare and relax before the class, and allows the teacher to start and finish on time.
  • Wear light comfortable clothing that allows room to move.
  • Tai Chi is best practiced on an empty stomach, otherwise it can be uncomfortable. Please allow 2-3 hours after a heavy meal or 1 hour after a light meal before practicing.
  • Inform your teacher of any health related issues, including if you are menstruating or pregnant, before the class.
